Scott Riley

Scott founded Mortgage Warehouse in 2003. Since then, Scott has built one of the most successful mortgage lending companies in its region. After having several years of success and being recognized as one of the top ten mortgage companies, Scott had the vision to change the company’s business model to adapt to the ever changing mortgage industry. In early 2010, Scott successfully secured $6 million in warehouse line capacity to fund mortgages and transitioned the company from brokering loans to actually lending the money on nearly every loan originated by Mortgage Warehouse.

In mid-2011, Mortgage Warehouse became licensed as a mortgage lender in the State of Florida. Scott spends his time between his Louisville office and where he now resides in Fort Myers, Florida. He is still very involved in the daily operation of the company.

Professional Experience

Scott’s work experience began as a Civil Engineer in Louisville, KY. In 1999, he changed careers and started in the mortgage industry. Scott currently has 12 years of mortgage lending experience. He began his mortgage career working for AmeriLoan Mortgage Corporation where he was recognized as “Loan Officer of the Year” in 2000, “Manager of the Year” 2001 and 2002, and eventually became Vice President of the company in 2002. He left AmeriLoan to start Mortgage Warehouse in early 2003. Since inception, Mortgage Warehouse has consistently been ranked as one of the top mortgage companies amongst its peers and was recognized as the 9th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in Louisville in 2009 and the 15th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in Louisville in 2010.

Education

Scott has completed nearly 200 hours of mortgage licensing education. He has passed the National S.A.F.E. mortgage exam along with the state component exams in KY, IN, TN, and FL. Scott is a licensed loan originator in KY, IN, TN, and FL.

Scott graduated from the University of Evansville (Indiana) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
